Olga Lorraine Grobe, 83, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; passed away on January 24, 2010 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Lorraine was born to Alfred and Lydia (Nelson) Dalman on November 3, 1926 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in the Dunvilla area. Lorraine worked at Fair Hills Resort in rural Pelican Rapids, prior to her marriage to Charles Grobe. They lived in Hibbing, St. Louis Park, Chicago and Dilworth. After Charles passed away, Lorraine moved to Detroit Lakes and worked at Norbychr(39)s Department Store. She was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Detroit Lakes and the Eagles Club in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Lorraine enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards and fishing. Lorraine is survived by her care providers, Kayla and Loretta Schirmer, Ellen and Erin Schirmer all of Detroit Lakes, MN; two sisters, Elvira Wander of Moorhead, MN; Lillian Schirmer of Sanborn, IA; one brother, Floyd (Marie) Dalman of Pelican Rapids, MN; special friend, Waldo Johnson of Detroit Lakes, MN; nieces and nephew, Sandy (Jim) Luenberger, Glenda (Kent) Miller, Norma (John) Stofferan, Lisa (Mike) Roth, Scott (Rachael) Schirmer. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Charles, four brothers, Carl, Walfred, Eric and Gust Dalman, nephew, Lynn Schirmer, two brothers-in-law, John Wander and Norman Schirmer, three sisters-in-law, Jean, Lois and Ethelyn Dalman.
