James V. Grove

James V. Grove age 62, of Detroit Lakes, MN died Friday May 21, 2010 at his residence. James Verne Grove was born on January 24, 1948 in Farmington, Minnesota to Verne and Virginia Wilkening Grove. He grew up and attended school in that area. He later attended Moorhead State University where he earned his degree. He then earned his masters degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He lived in Detroit Lakes and worked as a family and youth counselor. James is survived by one daughter, Jackie (Justin) Sharp, of Detroit Lakes, MN; four sons, Bruce Grove, of Columbus, Ohio; Michael (Laci) Grove, of Hibbing, MN; James (Lauri) Grove, of Stockton, CA; Sean (Amy) Grove, of Lake Park, MN; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Michael (Elaine) Grove, of Hackensack, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
