Hulda A. Enget age 94 of Audubon, MN died Saturday August 14, 2010 at St. Marychr(39)s Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes, MN. Hulda Enget was born on July 29, 1916 in rural Detroit Lakes, MN to Magnus and Ida Erickson Augustson. She attended District 29 country school in Atlanta Township and also District 98 school in Detroit Township. She worked for several years on the Sewall Froysland Farm doing both fieldwork and caring for their children. She also cleaned cabins at Fairhaven Resort in Shoreham, MN. On March 6, 1949 she was united in marriage to Maurice Enget. They made their home near Rochert, MN. In 1959 they moved to a farm near Audubon, where she worked alongside her husband for many years. She liked embroidery, quilting, and flower gardening. She especially liked red roses. She will be remembered as a very kind, loving person. Hulda is survived by her daughter, Marie (Julian) Qualley, of Audubon, MN; son, Larry (Farey) Enget, of Audubon, MN; eight grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice (1999); one son, Jerome Enget; one grandson, Paul Enget; four sisters, Eldora Enget, Lily Gustafson, Edith Augustson, and Annie Augustson; and one brother, Art Augustson.
