Pauline L. Soberg

Pauline L. Soberg, 77, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Marychr(39)s Essentia Health, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Pauline was born on March 19, 1933, the daughter of Herman and Margaret (Peterson) Ortlepp in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Detroit Lakes. Pauline was united in marriage to Howard Soberg on July 8, 1953. They made their home in Detroit Lakes, where they raised their daughter and two sons. She worked for Swift Turkey Hatchery for many years and later for DL TV and Appliance. Pauline enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and cooking. She most enjoyed the time spent with her family and grandchildren. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ron) Swanson of Detroit Lakes, MN; two sons, Ron (Nancy) Soberg of Rochert, MN and David Soberg, of Detroit Lakes, MN; three grandchildren, Jory (Sarah) Busch, Neil Busch and Andrew Busch; four great-grandchildren, Caley, Nathanial, Aiden and Brady Busch ; two brothers, Herman Ortlepp Jr. of Detroit Lakes, MN; Raymond (Sharon) Ortlepp of Detroit Lakes, MN ; five sisters, Louise Sandsburn of Blue River, OR; Joan Sullivan of Detroit Lakes, MN; Ellen (Ray) Johnson of Detroit Lakes, MN; Cheryl (Bernie) Knutson of Detroit Lakes, MN; Karen Ortlepp of Glyndon, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard (1992) and sister, Lois Ortlepp.
