Mavadel F. Kruger

MavadelF. Kruger age 92 of Detroit Lakes, MN formerly of Audubon, MN died Saturday March 5, 2011 at St. Marychr(39)s Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes, MN. Mavadel Florence Kruger was born March 14, 1918 in Cutbank, Montana to Everett and Flora Shaffner Handyside. At the age of four she and her family moved by covered wagon to Fosston, MN. She attended country school near her home and after completing the seventh grade she left school to help on the family farm. On November 12, 1936 she was united in marriage to Harry Kruger in Fosston. They lived in the Fosston area until 1958 when they purchased a farm south of Audubon, MN. They farmed and milked cows until they retired in the early 1980chr(39)s. Mavadel loved the outdoors, walking and gardening. She is survived by her husband Harry; four sons, Kermit Kruger, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Kenneth (Sharon) Kruger, of Phoenix, AZ; Dale (Joleen) Kruger, of Osage, MN; Everett (Jeanne) Kruger, of Audubon, MN; seventeen grandchildren; forty three great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son; parents; two grandsons, Paul Kruger and Curtis Kruger; one great grandson, Skyler Preston; two brothers, three sisters, and adaughter-in-law, JoAnn Kruger.
