Isabelle I. Halverson age 94 of Audubon, MN died Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Essentia Health "? Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes. Isabelle Irene Halverson was born on March 7, 1917 in rural Audubon, MN to Adolph and Mathilda Johnson Hendrickson. She attended country school as a young girl. On November 18, 1941 she was united in marriage to Kittrege Halverson. They farmed and raised their family on a dairy farm near Audubon. Isabelle also worked at Halvorsonchr(39)s Home Bakery in Detroit Lakes, which was owned and operated by her Mother in Law. She also worked at the Lake Park Lefse Factory as a Lefse Fryer. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church, teaching Sunday School there for 47 years. She enjoyed her life on the farm. She also enjoyed Baking and canning. Isabelle is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou (Richard) McLaughlin, of Detroit Lakes, MN; one son, Robert (Marilynn) Halverson, of Audubon, MN; three grandchildren, Dawn (Nathan) Rude, of Moorhead, MN; Greg (Tracy) Halverson, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Byron Kallberg, of Morgan Hill, CA; two step grandchildren, Brent McLaughlin, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Jeff (Kay) McLaughlin, of Audubon, MN; four great grandchildren, Rachel Rude, Aaron Rude, Paige Halverson, and Krysten Halverson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kit (1991); Parents; and three brothers, Lloyd, Art, and John Hendrickson.
