Calvin L. Korth

Calvin L. Korth age 46 of Frazee, Minnesota died Thursday June 9, 2011 at his residence. Calvin Lee Korth was born on November 30, 1964 in New London, Wisconsin to Melvin and Shirley (Pulvermacher) Korth. He grew up and attended school in Clintonville, Wisconsin and in 1971 moved to rural Frazee, MN where he attended Frazee High School. While at Frazee High School he participated in football, wrestling, and track. He currently holds the shot put record at Frazee High School. He worked at the Detroit Lakes Holiday Inn for several years and later for Daggett Truck Lines in Frazee. On October 11, 1986 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Gullard in Detroit Lakes. In 1998 he began working for Lund Boats in New York Mills, where he was currently employed. Cal enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also loved to laugh and joke. His family was very important to him. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, one brother, Brian (Barbara Ann) Korth, of Detroit Lakes, MN; one sister, Cheryl (Scott) Olson, of Frazee, MN; mother, Shirley Korth, of Frazee, MN; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Korth, and a brother Alan Korth.
