Marion S. Krump, 84, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, died Sunday, October 02, 2011 under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley at the Golden Manor, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Marion was born on July 23, 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Pladsen) Forberg in Cooperstown, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Sharon, North Dakota. Marion was married to Richard Dronen in 1946 and they later divorced. Marion went to Josefchr(39)s School of Hair Design in Moorhead, Minnesota. She worked at various beauty salons in the Fargo-Moorhead area until Marion started her beauty salon in Detroit Lakes in the early sixties. Marion was united in marriage on April 24, 1965 in Willmar, Minnesota to Norman Krump and on June 24, 1975 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Detroit Lakes. She continued to own and operate her beauty salon until her retirement. Marion enjoyed dancing and traveling with Norman. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Marion treasured the time spent with her family and grandchildren. Marion is survived by two sons, Dwight (Elaine) Dronen of Ohatchee, AL; Richard (Nancy) Krump of Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Deborah (Michael) Wilson of Lewisburg, OH; Rita (Dennis) Haverkamp of Detroit Lakes, MN; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Eleanor) Forberg of Thief River Falls, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Norman.
