Gary M. Munn

Gary M. Munn, 61, rural Audubon, Minnesota, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his home. Gary was born on February 20, 1950 the son of Gerald and Mary (Winchell) Munn in Fargo, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Fargo, graduating in the first senior class of Fargo South High School in 1968. Gary went to the Wahpeton School of Science receiving a HVAC Degree. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Local 10 Union and worked for various mechanical contractors in the area, until his recent retirement. Gary was always willing to lend his mechanical skills to a friend that needed a hand. He was an avid outdoors man, who enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends. Periodically he could even be talked into a round of golf with his father and brothers. Gary is survived by his father, Gerald (Evelyn) Munn of Detroit Lakes, MN; four brothers, Steve (Elaine) Munn of Alexandria, MN; John (Jane) Munn of Woodbury, MN; Dave (Margaret) Thompson of Eagan, MN; Brad (Carol) Thompson of New Braunfels, TX; one sister, Nancy Erdmann of Fargo, ND; Numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Munn and one sister, Kathleen Ekern.
