Kathleen C. Friedrich

Katie Chandra Friedrich passed away peacefully on Tuesday, the 1st of November 2011. Katie was born on January 31, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is survived by her four children; Michelle Chestnut and husband Michael of Spring, Texas; Andrew Torgerson and wife Kimberly of Alton, New Hampshire; Matthew Torgerson and wife Kathy of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; and Benjamin Torgerson and wife Heather of Audubon, Minnesota; and ten grandchildren: Nathaniel, Mikayla, Ryne, Montgomery, Trevor, Alexander, Seth, Heidi, Lydia and Marty. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers and many caring loving friends. During her lifetime, Katie found great joy in spending time with her children and playing with her grandchildren, making stained glass art, hiking, swimming, gardening, traveling, spending time at the beach with her sister Maggie, and most of all in reading her Bible. She maintained a playful, lively spirit throughout her lifetime and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
