Florence E. Iverson age 91 of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Detroit Lakes, MN, died Thursday December 1, 2011 at Delmar Gardens South, St. Louis, Missouri. Florence Elaine Iverson was born on August 26, 1920 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Nels and Agnes (Johnson) Johnson. She attended District 99 Country School in rural Audubon, MN. Florence was united in marriage to Ernest Iverson on. They made their home in rural Audubon. She raised their children and also helped Ernest on the family farm. She later worked at the Swift Turkey Plant in Detroit Lakes for a few years before retiring. Florence has resided in St. Louis for the past twenty years to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Richard (Sharon) Iverson and Gerald (Marlys) Iverson both of St. Louis, MO; seven grandchildren, Scott (Jenny) Iverson, David (Elizabeth) Iverson, Denise (Chris) Tremble, Jennifer Iverson, Lance (Shannon) Iverson, Brent (Marlo) Iverson and Bradley (Amie) Iverson; six great grandchildren; one sister, Leona Arneson, of Audubon, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; two brothers, Ed and Marvin Johnson.
