Pamelyn R. Ressler, 65, of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota died at Essentia Health, Fargo, North Dakota on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Detroit Lakes. Pamelyn was born on August 4, 1946, the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth (Haynes) Radke in Stillwater, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Stillwater, graduating with honors from Stillwater Senior High in 1964. Pamelyn was united in marriage to Daniel Ressler on September 11, 1965 in Stillwater. They made their home in various communities throughout the western United States until settling in Detroit Lakes in 2001. A woman of unwavering faith, Pamelyn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a great passion for genealogy and was able to trace her family history back several generations; Pamelyn was known as a family history consultant. She enjoyed reading murder mysteries and historical novels; she also loved watching any type of dancing. Above all else, Pamelynchr(39)s greatest passion was her children and two granddaughters. Pamelyn is survived by her husband, J. Daniel Ressler of Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Roxanne Denise Ressler and Cassandra Lynn Ressler both of Sebring, FL; one son, Justin D. Ressler of Detroit Lakes, MN; two granddaughters, Keira and McKenzie Ressler; three sisters, Connie (married to David) Paulson of Bayport, MN; Wendy (married to Robert) Whetham of Stillwater, MN; Susan Radke of Shafer, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pamelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Radke.
