Daniel R. Baumgart

Daniel R. Baumgart, 62, Frazee, Minnesota, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Frazee Care Center. Daniel was born on November 29, 1949, the son of Raymond and Luella Baumgart in Perham, Minnesota. He attended schools in the Rochert and Detroit Lakes area, graduating from Detroit Lakes high School in 1967. During his younger years, Daniel was very active in 4-H. He attended the Wahpeton State School of Science and then went on to Moorhead State University, receiving a bachelors degree in Business Administration. Daniel worked at Midwest Minnesota Community Develop Corporation, Center for Parents and Children, Maintenance Engineering and State Farm Insurance in Detroit Lakes. He was united in marriage to Mary Pohlmann on July 27, 2002 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frazee, Minnesota. Daniel enjoyed working on his computer, photography, cooking and genealogy. He will be missed by his family and friends. Daniel is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Baumgart of Frazee, MN; his parents, Raymond and Luella Baumgart of Detroit Lakes, MN; two brothers, Ronald (Connie) Baumgart of Colorado Springs, CO; Scott (Ruth) Baumgart of Frazee, MN; sister, Bonnie (Wayne) Dahring of Detroit Lakes, MN; three nieces and two nephews.
