Cheryl L. Senn, 60, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Oak Crossing, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Cheryl was born on September 28, 1951, the daughter of Harvey and Lorraine (Bennen) Hegg in Seattle, Washington. She was raised and educated in Fertile, Minnesota. Cheryl graduated from Fertile High School in 1970. She then attended college in Crookston, Minnesota. Cheryl moved to the Detroit Lakes and worked in various restaurants in the area. She was united in marriage to Charles Senn on March 20, 1982 in Detroit Lakes. Cheryl was very active in the Eagles Club, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. She also held many offices in the Auxiliary, which Cheryl was honored to do. She was also an active volunteer at the VA Hospital in Fargo with the American Legion Auxiliary. Cheryl enjoyed embroidering and reading in her free time. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Dustin and Haily, who she considered her adoptive grandchildren. Cheryl is survived by her mother, Lorraine Brunsberg of Fertile, MN; sister, Linda (Stanley) Aanenson of Fertile, MN; three brothers, Wayne (Cheryl) Hegg of Fertile, MN; Jeff Hegg of Fertile, MN; Todd (Lori) Ranz of Fertile, MN; step-brother, Daniel (Ardis) Brunsberg of Minneapolis, MN; step-sister, Deborah Holden of Minneapolis, MN; brother-in-law, Olai Heden of Pelican Rapids, MN; nieces and nephews, Tami Pinske, Sophia Ranz, Douglas (Connie) Hegg, David (Brenda) Hegg, Chad (Angie) Hegg, Aaron Holden; several grand nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Harvey, two step-fathers, George Ranz and Donald Brunsberg, Husband, Charles (2009), two brothers, Gerald and Eugene Hegg, nephew, Jamie Aanenson and sister-in-law, Lois Heden.
