Jeffery C. Johnson

Jeffery C. Johnson, 65, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Emmanuel Nursing Home, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Jeff was born on June 29, 1946, the son of Phillip and Arline (Daniels) Johnson in Montevideo, Minnesota. He was raised and educated in Owatonna, Minnesota. Jeff was united in marriage to Winnie Marks on September 5, 1969 in Sisseton, South Dakota. He worked construction, specializing in concrete and also worked in the oil fields in Texas. Jeff enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with family and friends. Jeff is survived by his two daughters, Jamie (Ryan) Evans of Lake Park, MN; Felicia Johnson of Audubon, MN; three grandchildren, Issiah Evans, Jaiden Disse and Raini Evans; father, Phillip Johnson of Detroit Lakes, MN; sister, Debra (Robert) Jacoby of Blaine, MN; former spouse/friend, Winnie Johnson of Detroit Lakes, MN; nephew, Nick (Katie) Jacoby and niece, Kristin (Jim) Nordstrom. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Arline.
