Arlene A. Pribbenow age 78 of Detroit Lakes, MN died Monday July 9, 2012 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND. Arlene Ann Pribbenow was born on September 6, 1933 in Dilworth, MN to Francis and Mary Meader Magloughlin. She grew up and attended school there, graduating from Dilworth High School. She then attended the Detroit Lakes Vocational and Technical College where she studied Nursing. She lived and raised her family in Alaska for twelve years, before moving back to Minnesota. They lived in Barnesville for a short time before moving to Detroit Lakes in 1977. Arlene obtained her Real Estate license and sold property in Detroit Lakes. During the winter months she lived in California where she worked as a home health nurse. Arlene was an avid Twins and Viking fan. She also enjoyed playing cards and had a great love for her cat "Kitty Boy". She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Richard) Hoitt, of Fairbanks, Alaska; and Kelli (David Kahle) Utecht, of Detroit Lakes, MN; one son, Douglas (Heather) Bradbury, of Pedro Bay, Alaska; eight grandchildren, Kari, Stephannie, Nickole, Victoria, Justin, Matthew, Shannon, and Caleb; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Bartness, of Dilworth, MN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Magloughlin.
