Gerald G. Dixon

Gerald G. Dixon age 53 of Detroit Lakes, MN died Sunday July 8, 2012 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 14, 2012; 2:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Detroit Lakes. Interment will be at the First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Audubon, MN. Gerald Gene Dixon was born on May 23, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa to William and Emma Courier Dixon. He moved to Detroit Lakes as a young man. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Vikings and twins fan. Time spent with family was also very important to him. Gerald is survived by one sister; Dorothy (Gerald) Fish, of Audubon, MN; three brothers, Donald (Glenis) Dixon, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Alvin (Sharon) Dixon, of Ada, MN; and Timothy (Valerie) Dixon, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Mother, Emma Dixon, of Lake Park, MN; one step daughter, Samantha Novak, of Park Rapids, MN; two step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Kathleen DuPree.
