Juliette Totland

Juliette B. Totland age 79 of Frazee, MN died Sunday August 5, 2012 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee, MN. Juliette Bernadine Totland was born on August 15, 1932 to Frank and Anna Kinnen Blauert in Height of Land Township of rural Frazee, MN. She grew up and attended Country School in that area. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Johnchr(39)s Lutheran Church at Height of Land. On Sept. 3, 1950 she was united in marriage to Leonard M. Totland also at St. Johnchr(39)s Lutheran Church. They raised their family and farmed in rural Detroit Lakes, MN. She has been a resident at the Frazee Care Center since 2000. Judy enjoyed dancing, sewing, playing cards, and afternoon visits with family and neighbors. She was also a 4H Leader for many years. Judy is survived by seven daughters, Linda (Joe) Stach, of Frazee, MN; Lois (Jerre Sperling) Ditterich, of Frazee, MN; Carol (Wayne King) Eckre, of Frazee, MN; Janet (Joey) Bruemmer, of Long Prairie, MN; Lorie Lennartson, of South St. Paul, MN; Vickie (David) Nettum, of Apple Valley, MN; and Julie (Lee) Roberts, of Perham, MN; two sons, Dennis (Mary) Totland, of Frazee, MN; and Duane (Kathleen) Totland, of Cass Lake, MN; 26 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two sisters, Ramona Ulschmid, of Frazee, MN; and Sharon (Bill) May, of Wadena, MN; one brother in law Marvin (Adeline) Totland, of Alexandria, MN; two sisters in law, Phyllis Totland, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Mabel Blauert, of Frazee, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard (6/28/91); her parents; one brother, Vernon Blauert; three infant sisters; one greatgrandson, Lance Totland; three brothers in law, Milton Totland, George Ulschmid Jr., and William Haspel Sr.; one sister in law, Dorothy Haspel.
