Elaine C. Grovum

Elaine C. Grovum, 81 of Fargo N.D. died Thursday October 18th, 2012 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Kathryn and Dennis Hass of Frazee, Mn. surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. She was born May 11, 1931 the daughter of Alfred and Tena (Gjevre) Monsebroten in Grafton N.D. Elaine was united in marriage to Orville B. Grovum on April 15th, 1954 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Grafton N.D. Surviving Elaine are six sons and one daughter, Dwayne Grovum, Fargo N.D., Steve Grovum, Park Rapids MN., Kathryn (Dennis)Hass, Frazee, MN., Brian Grovum, Fargo N.D., Blane (Sharlene Davenport, significant other) Grovum, Gretna Neb., Bradford Grovum, Fargo N.D., Shane (Barb) Grovum, Fargo N.D. Twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; one sister Elsie (Lyle) LaMont, Apple Valley CA, two brothers Neil (Margaret) Monsebroten, Grafton N.D., Marvin (MaryAnn) Monsebroten, Henderson NV. Numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
