Morris M. Foltz

Morris M. Foltz age 68 of Detroit Lakes, MN died Friday November 30, 2012 at Essentia Health- Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes, MN. Morris Myron Foltz was born on August 29, 1944 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Joseph and Marie Veik Foltz. The family moved to rural Frazee, MN when Morris was five years old. He attended Country School in Evergreen Township. Morris helped on the family farm and also worked many years at the Swift Turkey Plant in Detroit Lakes. In 1973 he was united in marriage to Rita Molacek in Detroit Lakes, MN. They made their home in Richwood Township and later moved into Detroit Lakes. Morris enjoyed flowers, gardening, cutting wood, camping, listening to music, and caring for his animals. He is survived by his wife, Rita; one son, Tom Foltz, of Detroit Lakes, MN; three sisters, Estelle (Norel) Arneson, of Perham, MN; Doris (Ted) Wenner, of Perham, MN; and Susan (Duane) Hiedeman, of West Fargo, ND; two brothers, Merlyn (Brenda) Foltz, of New Hope, North Carolina; and Don (Connie) Foltz, of Perham, MN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Duyane Foltz.
