Sharon A. Anderson

Sharon A. Anderson, 70, Frazee, Minnesota, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ecumen-Emmanuel Nursing Home, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Sharon was born on July 3, 1942, the daughter of Ernest and Audrey (Craft) Olson in Perham, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Detroit Lakes, graduating from high school in 1960. Sharon was united in marriage to Patrick Anderson on April 15, 1962 at First Methodist Church in Detroit Lakes. They made their home in rural Frazee. She was an owner and operator of Bernie Anderson Trucking with her husband, Bernie. Sharon also worked for the Detroit Lakes Newspaper as a motor route carrier for ten years. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading romance and mystery novels. During her younger years she enjoyed fishing and hunting with her father, Ernest. Sharon cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her husband, Patrick "Bernie" Anderson of Frazee, MN; her children, Joel Anderson of Detroit Lakes, MN; Jody (Dennis) Wheeler of Frazee, MN; Jolene (Joe Cannon) Peterson of Sebeka, MN; Jon (Julie) Anderson of Lake Park, MN; twenty grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Marlys ( Jerry) Ortlepp; Ella Mae (Bruce) Frank; Maxine Spicer all of Detroit Lakes, MN; Patty (Bob) Sanaker of Oswego, NY; two brothers, Rick (Brenda) Olson of Detroit Lakes, MN; Mike (Rachel) Olson of Perham, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
