Clair W. Wenger age 64 of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away January 13, 2013 at his residence, unexpectedly of a heart attack. Clair Wilmer Wenger was born on June 12, 1948 in Detroit Lakes, MN to J. Wilmer and Alice (Stutzman) Wenger. He attended rural school at Height of Land, and later attended Frazee schools, graduating from Frazee High School in 1967. He was very active in FFA in high school. He was drafted and served two years of service in a hospital in Evanston, IL. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Anderson on October 10, 1970 at Zion Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes. They moved onto the family farm in rural Detroit Lakes where he continued farming and milking cows. He worked at the Audubon Co-Op Elevator for several years and then at the Frazee Co-Op Elevator. He bought Don Lefebvre's cattle truck and began on farm pick up and hauling of livestock to West Fargo Central Livestock from 1982 - 2000. He sold his cows and went to work for Audubon Engineering and later Vareberg Well Drilling. When it was to cold for drilling he worked for Seaberg for two years. In 2002 he started his current job of driving milk truck for Perham Co-Op. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn; three daughters and two sons (in-law), Rachel Wenger, of Santa Fe, NM; Stephanie (Glen) Kadelbach, of Hutchinson, MN; and Christie (Duane) Simon, of Horace, ND; five grandchildren, Sonorra, Gavin, and Megan Simon, and Conrad and Kendra Kadelbach; one sister, Loris Wenger, of Frazee, MN; Niece, Kayla Pavlacky; three sisters in law, Joan (Mark) Buchhop, of Grand Forks, ND; Vivian (Marvin B.) Anderson, of Frazee, MN; and Linda (Jim) Dammann, of Schulyer, NE; brother in law, Jimmie (Deann) Anderson, of Frazee, MN; uncle and aunt, Rudy and Lois Stutzman, of Fargo, ND; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother, Daniel.
