Dorothy Pacourek

Dorothy Pacourek, 78, Detroit Lakes , Minnesota , died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Oak Crossing, Detroit Lakes , Minnesota . Dorothy was born on February 10, 1934, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Saflarski) Pacourek in Rib Lake , Wisconsin . She has resided in Detroit Lakes for the last twenty-six years. In the past Dorothy worked at the Becker County D.A.C. and for many years, she lived with Luther and Carol Johnson in adult foster care. The last thirteen years were spent at Oak Crossing, where she enjoyed the caring staff and fellow residents. Dorothy enjoyed listening to baseball games, especially the Minnesota Twins. She also enjoyed knitting and listening to her radio. Dorothy is survived by her brother, John (Arlene) Pacourek of Coleman , WI ; and special friends, Carolyn, Jason and Joshua Johnson.
