Mabel Mosher age 92 of Detroit Lakes, MN died April 28, 2013 at the Ecumen-Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Mabel Mosher was born on March 28, 1921 in rural Ogema, MN to Iver and Annie Aho Lusty.. She grew up and attended Country School near her home in rural Ogema. On Nov. 20, 1939 she was united in marriage to Roy W. Mosher in Mankato, MN. They lived in Bremerton, Washington during WWII, where they worked at an Ammunition Depot. They later moved back to the Ogema area where they lived for many years. Mabel has been a resident at Emmanuel Nursing Home since 2004. Mabel enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading and fishing. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Lester (Susan) Mosher, of Waseca, MN; and Ralph (Robin) Mosher, of Detroit Lakes, MN; five daughters, Marion (Phil) Nelson, of Ogema, MN; Marlene (Terry) Bunnis, of Ogema, MN; Anne (Ray) Collmann, of Ogema, MN; Diane (Don) Heinrich, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Cecile (Eden) Baer, of Rochert, MN; fourteen grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Sadie Taber, of Mankato, MN; and Sigrid Lindsay, of Ogema, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy (2012); one grandson, Ryan Mosher; two brothers, Reino and August Lusty; three sisters, Maime Jaster, Anna Allison, and Vivian Lindsay; son in law, Rodney Poppenhagen; and her parents.
