Gail Adell Berg

Gail A. Berg age 74 of Detroit Lakes, MN died Wednesday June 12, 2013 at her residence under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Gail Adell Berg was born on December 8, 1938 in rural Lake Park, MN to Edwin and Hilda Anderson Ness. She grew up and received her education in Lake Park, graduating from Lake Park High School in 1956. On November 17, 1956 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Berg at the Gran Lutheran Church near Hawley, MN. They made their home in Detroit Lakes where Gail began her career as a cashier at Evan's Supermarket. She worked in the grocery business for over 30 years, her last job was working for Central Market in Detroit Lakes. Gail enjoyed sewing, fishing and camping. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; one son, Bryce (Michelle) Berg, of North Branch, MN; two daughters, Laurel Wright, of Soldotna, Alaska; and Lois Berg, of Big Lake, MN; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Lowell (Carol) Ness, of Lake Park, MN; Harold (Diane) Ness, Of Moorhead, MN; Arvid Ness, of Lake Park, MN; and Harvey (Deb) Ness, of Lake Park, MN; two sisters, Irene Roen , of Lake Park, MN; and Paulette (Ron) Foss, of Zeeland, ND ; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter Angela Berg.
