Betty Marie Froysland, 79, of Monticello, MN, formerly of Audubon, MN died Friday, July 5, 2013 at Centra Care Center in Monticello, MN. Betty was born on January 31, 1934, to James and Bernice (Clark) Larsen at Fred and Silvia Larsen's farm at the bottom of Detroit Mountain in Detroit Lakes, MN. She was raised and educated in rural Becker County. Betty was married to Lowell Huso and together they had four children. She worked at Emmanuel Nursing Home for a number of years as a Kitchen Aide. Betty was united in marriage to Amer Froysland on June 16, 1986 at First Lutheran Church in Audubon, MN. Betty enjoyed biking, cross country skiing, camping, shopping, ceramics and spending time outdoors. Betty and Amer traveled extensively during their retirement years and always looked forward to Amer's 3rd Armored Division Reunions. Betty is survived by her son, Lynn (Sue) Huso of Audubon, MN; two daughters, Pamela (Duane) Lindholm of Rainy Lake, MN; Cynthia (Marc) Simpson of Monticello, MN; daughter-in-law, Katie Huso of Kearney, NE; twelve grandchildren, Michael (Rae) Simpson, Matthew (Emma) Devbillis, Derek Simpson, Toni (Patrick) Clacken, Ben (Heidi) Huso, Ryan Huso, Rebecca Huso, Marcy (Jerry) Stalhiem, Penny (Chris) Sandvick, Cassandra (Ryan) Camick, Cole Hecock and Brody Huso; eleven great-grandchildren, Conner Huso, Patrick and Torrian Clacken, Effie Mae Huso, Gabrielle Stalhiem, Eli and Adrienne Camick, Jason and Christina Simpson, Logan and Anna Devbillis; one sister-in-law, Pam Larsen of Midwest City, OK and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Amer (2007), son Eldon Huso, two brothers, Wallace and Bill Larsen and one sister, Nellie Nelson.
