Durema L. Hanson, 42, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Sandford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, North Dakota. Durema was born on July 2, 1971, the daughter of Susan (Davis) Crutchfield in Auburn, Washington. She was raised and educated in Maple Valley, Washington, graduating from Tahoma High School in 1989. Durema moved to Detroit Lakes in 2011, where she met and married Jeff Hanson on February 17, 2012. She worked at Central Market as a cashier. Durema loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and riding on the Harley with her husband, Jeff. She was known for her spontaneous personality and will be dearly missed by her family. Durema is survived by her husband, Jeff Hanson of Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Brianne Saunders and Samantha Graham; one son, Dylan Saunders; two grandchildren, Rozlynn and Kadan; her mother, Susan Allard of Detroit Lakes, MN; two sisters, Dawn (Eric) Ellis of Kent, WA; Kim McPherson of Granite Falls, WA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon and Ardys Hanson of Detroit Lakes, MN; sister-in-law, Kathy (Steve) Gravelle of Detroit Lakes, MN; brother-in-law, Brad Hanson of Rollag, MN; nieces and nephews, Samantha, Russell, Eric, Jessica, Kelsie, Kyle, Danielle, Jack and Cole. Durema was preceded in death by her grandparents and step-father, Joseph Allard.
