Daryl Eldon Wischnak

Daryl E. Wischnak age 74 of Vergas, MN died September 10, 2013 at his residence. Daryl Eldon Wischnak was born August 16, 1939 in Frazee, MN to Ed and Ida (Gravermoen) Wischnak. He grew up on a farm in rural Vergas, MN and attended country school. He graduated from Frazee High School in 1957. Daryl lived in the Vergas area his entire life. Over the years he farmed with his Father and Brother and drove truck for Merle Hough, Lakeview Township, and the Perham Creamery. He also worked for the Northern Turkey Farm in Pelican Rapids, MN, and following retirement worked part time for Thomson Painting in Wolverton, MN. Daryl loved the outdoors, farming, hunting, fishing, and reading westerns. He was very much a people person who enjoyed visiting with others. He is survived by his wife Patricia; three daughters, Debbie Peterson, of Queens Creek, AZ; Diane (Dale) Ladwig, of Frazee, MN; and Denise Bunnis, of Fargo, ND; four sons, Brian (Kathy) Wischnak, of Rock Island, IL; Bruce (Shauna) Wischnak, of Fargo, ND; Billy (Lisa Burgard) Wischnak, of Moorhead, MN; and Bradley (Nicole) Wischnak, of Fargo, ND; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Tabitha Janssen; grandson, John Bunnis; brother, Leland Wischnak; sister, Rosella Reese; and niece, Renae Swann.
