Lillian Ida (Moske) Hausmann, 93, Northfield, Minnesota formerly of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Cannon Valley Suites, Northfield, Minnesota. Lillian was born on February 4, 1921 in Leaf Valley Township in Douglas County, Minnesota. She married Richard Hausmann on March 21, 1941 in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. They farmed near Averill, Minnesota until moving to a farm at Callaway, Minnesota in 1948. Upon Richard's retirement in 1962 they moved into Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. After Richard's death in 1995, Lillian continued to live in Detroit Lakes until moving to Northfield, Minnesota in 2012 in order to be closer to her family. Lillian worked at the Emmanuel Nursing Home as a dietary supervisor for twenty years, retiring in 1984. She was an active member at Zion Lutheran Church. Lillian was a lifelong care giver to her family, as well as through her church activities, her employment at Emmanuel and at Multi-County Nursing Service and as a volunteer at St. Mary's Nursing Home. Lillian is survived by her three children, Richard (Cynthia) of Northfield, MN; Bruce of Fairfield, MT and Francine (David) Nordhausen of Hugo, MN; sister, Luella Larson of New Hope, MN; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard and three sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Hour Ministries (660 Mason Ridge Center Dr. St. Louis, MO 63141)
