Judith A. Jones, age 72 of Osage, MN died September 4, 2014 at her son's home in Audubon, MN, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Judith Ann Jones was born on December 1, 1941 in Frazee, MN to Christian and Letha Nelson Litzau. She grew up and received her education in Frazee, graduating from Frazee High School. On June 7, 1957 she was united in marriage to Duane E. Jones. They made their home and raised their family in rural Osage, MN. Judy worked at the Swift Turkey Plant in Detroit Lakes for many years and later on worked at SJ Rhombus in Detroit Lakes. Her church was an important part of her life. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, writing, and reminiscing and telling stories about the past. She liked going to rummage and auction sales, and collected many beautiful knick knacks. Judy was a very social person who enjoyed visiting with others. Time spent with family was very important to her, especially at holiday time. Judy is survived by four sons, Duane Jones Jr., of Frazee, MN; Alan Jones, of Osage, MN; Roger (Alicia) Jones, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Bruce (Paula) Jones, of Audubon, MN; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane E. Jones (2008); infant daughter, Susan Marie; infant granddaughter, Kristan Jones; infant great granddaughter, Chloe Jones; one brother, Carl Litzau; and her parents.
