Raymond Holm Pederson

Raymond H. Pederson, 85, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota died on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Cottage of the Ecumen Community, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Ray was born on December 10, 1928, the son of Chris and Laura (Holm) Pederson in Enderlin, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Enderlin. Ray received a Bachelor's Degree in History at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Lael Withrow on June 10, 1961. They made their home in Edina, Minnesota where Ray worked for Northwest National Life until his retirement. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 2003 to be with their family. Ray was an active member of Kiwanis. He enjoyed golf and hand ball. Ray is survived by his daughter, Leslie (Andrew) Berger of Detroit Lakes, MN; three grandchildren, Laura, Cara and Bret Berger; sister, Loretta (Cal) Larson of St. Paul, MN; and two nieces and two nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lael (2013) and brother, Chris Pederson.
