Eileen Kathryn Huseby

Eileen K. Huseby, 70, Audubon, Minnesota, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Sanford Health, Fargo, North Dakota. Eileen was born on November 25, 1944 to Albert and Frances (Leitheiser) Olson in the Hamden Township of rural Becker County, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Audubon, graduating from Audubon High School in 1962. Eileen was united in marriage to Dennis Bjorgan in June of 1962 in Tennessee. They made their home at Fort Campbell, Kentucky during Dennis's military career. Eileen and Dennis moved to northern Minnesota to raise their family and traveled to various communities throughout the United States, during Dennis working career. They settled in Audubon, Minnesota in the late 70's. Dennis passed away in 1979. Eileen worked as a CNA for Emmanuel Nursing Home for a number of years. She married Harlan Huseby on July 9, 1988 in Fargo, North Dakota. They made their home in Audubon. Eileen later worked as a process analyst for Noridian Insurance Company until her retirement in December of 2007. Eileen was an active member at Lake Eunice Evangelical Free Church. She served as treasurer, missions director, helped organized bible school in the summers and also worked in the kitchen. Her faith and the church were a very important part of her daily life. Eileen enjoyed gardening, flowers, cross stitching, knitting, listening to Statler Brothers music and her cats. She cherished her time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren. Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Harlan, children, Teresa (Bill) Paulson of Waubun, MN; Richard David (Sandy) Bjorgan of Chisago City, MN; Allan (Michelle) Bjorgan of Lake Park, MN; Darrell ("Mitch") Huseby, Duane (Deanna) Huseby, Danny Huseby and Donovon (Heather) Huseby all of Fargo, ND; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lon-Richard "Dick" (Alice) Olson and Larry Olson both of Detroit Lakes, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Dennis Bjorgan.
