Joseph Henry Bosch

Joseph H. Bosch age 60 of Detroit Lakes, MN died September 3, 2015 at his residence, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Joseph Henry Bosch was born February 10, 1955 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Leo and Eleanor (Tolbert) Bosch. He grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, and later served in the United States Navy. In 1986 he was united in marriage to Rita Welle. They made their home in Detroit Lakes. Joe worked for American Crystal Sugar in Moorhead for several years. He then owned and operated Bosch and Sons Construction in Detroit Lakes. Joe was a very loving, kind hearted man. He loved his family very much and cherished the time he spent with them. He enjoyed family trips, music and poetry. His friends were also very important to him. He was known to have a great sense of humor and was always "The life of the party." He is survived by his best friend and soulmate, Joni Biewer, of Detroit Lakes, MN; five sons, David (Carissa) Bosch, of Moorhead, MN; Christopher Bosch, of Detroit Lakes, MN; Alexander Bosch, of Duluth, MN; Dakota Bosch, of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Zander Bosch, of Detroit Lakes, MN; two grandsons, Garrick Bosch and Taylum Bosch; one brother, Anthony (Maria) Bosch, of Moorhead, MN; three sisters, Sylvia (Richard) Shipman, of Frazee, MN; Laura (Mike) Weller, of Green Bay, WI; and Pamela Bosch, of Bellingham, WA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Theresa Schweigart; and one granddaughter, Lilia Bosch.
