Clinton LeRoy Felker was born February 22, 1946, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the son of Darrel and Catherine (Nesslein) Felker. He passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017. He grew up and attended school in Audubon before starting a career in music that spanned for over 60 years. On June 19, 1968, Clint was united in marriage to Janice Haugen at Rollag Lutheran Church. To this union, two children were born.Clint lived in Reno, Nevada, and Coffeeville, Kansas, before moving back to Audubon in 1985. His music career took him all over the country, traveling and performing in 49 states. Clint recorded 4 albums hitting the charts with “Battalion Boots” in 1973. Clint performed for many area events throughout the years and was able to perform any song request asked of him since he had learned and memorized over 3500 songs. He was an avid deer hunter and sports fan cheering for the Vikings and the Twins. Clint gave voice and guitar lessons, followed his grandchildren’s activities and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Clint is survived by his wife, Jan Felker of Audubon; children Sean (Becky) Felker of Audubon; Pam Felker of Lake Park; grandchildren: Aaron, Seth, Bracston, Sean II; siblings: Wally (LaVeta) Longtine of Moorhead; Maxine Lydell of Sparks, Nevada; Dorothy Ross of Pelican Rapids and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel and Catherine Felker; brother: Richard Longtine.
