Connie Benjamin Qualley was born on July 31, 1940, to Garfield and Ruth Qualley in Detroit Lakes, MN. He Graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1957. He lived in Detroit Lakes his entire life.
He worked for the City of Detroit Lakes for over 25 years. He enjoyed a long life filled with drawing, printing, carving, hunting, and most important to him was faith, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn (Oelfke), their two children Shawn (Stephanie) Qualley and Kristi (Ron) Cameron, three grandchildren, Courtney (Charles) Landor, Mitchell (Samantha) Qualley and Zahra Cameron and six great-grandchildren, Ella, Addy, Stella and Josie Qualley and Frankie and Tony Landor.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Hospice of the Red River Valley and to Connie's sister in-laws, Cheryl Auerbagh and Marilyn Oelfke, and Randy Riedberger.
A private family graveside service is planned.
