Dennis E. Dinger age 79 of Rochert, MN died October 30, 2024, at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Dennis Edward Dinger was born on March 31, 1945, in Breckenridge, MN to Henry and Alice Dinger. He grew up and received his education in Rothsay, MN, graduating from Rothsay High School in 1963. He then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge from the Army he moved back to Rothsay and worked at the West Central Turkey Plant in Pelican Rapids for over twenty-five years. Following his retirement, he lived in Detroit Lakes and Frazee, and he worked at the Boys and Girls Club Thrift Store in Detroit Lakes.
Dennis loved going to old time music dances every week and socializing with his many friends there, going out to dinner at his favorite local restaurants, and drives in the country. Spending time with friends and family was also very important to him.
He is survived by his fiancé, Georgian Bachmann and her family; his son, Don; three daughters, Debbie, Heather and Heidi; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Gaye and Bev; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Dale.
