Margaret Bellefeuille

Margaret J. Bellefeuille age 96 of Detroit Lakes, MN died January 5, 2019 at Ecumen-Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, MN. Margaret began her life in Hitterdal, MN, a daughter to Julius and Helga Schloesser. She attended high school in Waubun, MN, graduating in 1940. She then attended Moorhead State College, where she earned her teaching degree. She put her teaching career on hold at the start of WWII and went to Seattle, WA to help build aircraft at Boeing for the war effort. After the war she came back home and taught school in White Earth, Park Rapids, and Detroit Lakes. Margaret married Howard, the love of her life on September 10, 1950 in Callaway, MN. They made their home in Detroit Lakes, and together had three sons. She was active at Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed her many friends there. She is survived by three sons, Grant (Debbie), of Duluth, MN; John (Pat), of Detroit Lakes, MN; and Scott (Janet), of New Braunfels, TX; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; three brothers; and her parents.
