Mildred Elaine Blauert

Mildred Elaine Blauert passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 88. Mildred was born on December 17, 1936, to Wilfred and Dorothy Sarvie of Ponsford, MN.

Mildred married Arnold Blauert Sr. on September 3, 1956. Mildred resided and worked on the family farm with her husband, Arnold, and mother-in-law, Anna S. Blauert, and later her 8 children. She also drove a paper route with her husband, Arnold, and for a time worked in the kitchen at The Broken Wheel.

Mildred was very active in her church, St. John’s Height of Land. Throughout the years, she was very active in the church’s ladies aid and held a variety of offices. She was always willing to help do whatever she was asked to do for the church.

She also enjoyed crocheting, needlework and making special cross-stitch quilts for her grandchildren and later for her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, when time permitted. She enjoyed spending time with her family and later with her grandkids as they came along. She will be missed by all who knew her with a big smile and a kind heart.

Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Blauert Sr.; daughter, Cynthia (LeGros) Blauert; son, Bruce Alan Blauert; parents, Wilfred and Dorothy Sarvie; sister, Ethel Nelson and her brother-in-law, Paul Nelson; 2 brothers Harold Sarvie and Donald Sarvie.

She is survived by 6 children; Kathleen (Roger) Blauert; Arnold Jr. (Lydia) Blauert; Steven (Shelly) Blauert; daughter-in-law, Deanna (Pat) Stottlemyer; Annette (Allan) Wendt; Richard (Tina) Blauert; and Pamela (Matthew) Johnson; son-in-law, Marc LeGros; sister-in-law Charlotte Sarvie; 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; brother, Edwin Sarvie; brother-in-laws, Kenneth (Sandra) Blauert and Marvin (Dolly) Blauert, and nieces and nephews.
