Sherry Marie Baker

Sherry M. Baker age 72 of Detroit Lakes, Mn died February 20, 2024 at Ecumen – Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes.

Sherry Marie Baker was born October 22, 1951 in LaCrosse, WI to Mathias and Alice Baker. She graduated from High School in Wausau, WI in 1969. She then attended college, where she earned a degree in Music Therapy. Over the years she worked as a Flight Attendant for National Airlines, an Artist, an Emotional Trauma Counselor, an EMT, and an International Negotiator, while living in Alaska, Florida, and Washington.

She is survived by her significant other, Steve Holson; son J.R. Lawrence; mother, Alice Baker; and grandchildren, Carson, Kelsey, and Vivien.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mathias Baker.

Memorial Services and Burial will be held at a later date in Wisconsin. The West-Kjos Funeral Home is serving the family.
