Thomas John West

Thomas (Tom) John West was the son of Thomas B. West and Avis M. (Lien) West. He was born August 3, 1951 in Detroit Lakes, MN. He moved to San Diego in 1965 and lived there until his passing.

Tom worked as an electrician and later as an electrical inspector for the City of San Diego. After he retired, he continued to do consulting work.

Tom loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Winter. He enjoyed reading and always had a book going. He liked surfing and golfing. He had a home on Little Detroit Lake where he could enjoy either the lake or the snow. He also had a home in Borrego Spring, CA where he could enjoy the desert.

He is survived by his daughter Nicole West Navarro (Sax) and his granddaughter Winter; siblings, Barbara West, Alfred West, Evelyn Grignon and Jane Spaeth and her husband Steve.

Private Family service will be held in San Diego.
