Valerie Kay Trautman

On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, Valerie Kay Trautman, 61, of Detroit Lakes, MN passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her husband. Her devotion to her family and her belief in Jehovah supported her in her struggles and ultimately gave her peace. She looked forward to the resurrection and her hope was in Rev. 21:3-4.

Valerie Kay Trautman was born on Saturday, March 17, 1962. The daughter of Donald and Margie (Elliott) Wisener in Fresno, CA. She was raised in Madera, CA where she attended public schools and graduated from Madera High. There is where she met the love of her life, Clarence "Butch" Trautman. They got married on June 20, 1981 and together, they had three daughters: Amie, Stacie, and Tiffanie.

Valerie was a dedicated mother and wife, first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as "Nana". She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. Always welcoming her home to anyone who needed a place to stay. She was an amazing cook and it gave her joy seeing everyone together. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Wisener, Father in-law, Clarence Trautman, and Great grandson, Braxton Overstreet.

Valerie will be remembered and cherished by her husband (Daddy), Clarence Trautman, daughters: Amie (Rodney) Kuhn, Stacie (Shad) Gregoire, Tiffanie Kay Trautman, grandchildren: Tyler(Itzel), Destanie (Andrew), Katelyn, Cristina, Melanie, Jadeynne, Mackenzie, Kourtnie, Lilyanna, Kaleb, and Blaze, great grandchildren: Maliyah, Nolyn, Malakai, Bennett, mother, Margie Wisener, mother-in-law, Judith Trautman, sister, Connie Alvis, brother, Donnie (Gloria) Wisener,  brothers-in-law: Clayton, Curtis (Tess), and Clinton, sister-in-law, Cathy (Rusty) Feddersen and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
