Virginia E. Olund age 82 of Perham, MN died July 21, 2021 at Perham Living in Perham, MN

Virginia Edwitch Olund was born June 6, 1939 in Evergreen Township, MN to Victor and Grace (Adams) Pickett. She grew up and attended Country School in the Shell Lake area. On November 9, 1964 she was united in marriage to Stanley Olund in Park Rapids, MN. They made their home in Callaway, MN. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 1979. She moved to Frazee in 2000.

Virginia loved fishing, deer hunting, photography, bird watching, canning, flower gardening, playing cards, and puzzles. Her greatest love was her family, and the time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Wanda Litzau, of Park Rapids, MN; Dana (Mark) Berger, of Rochert, MN; Jeri Berger, of Big Sky, MT; and Darla (Duane) Amundson, of Perham, MN; fourteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one sister, Verlyn Carr, of Rochert, MN; three brothers, LaVern (Bobbi) Pickett, of Sebeka, MN; Victor (Kathy) Pickett jr., of Park Rapids, MN; and Larry Pickett, of Princeton, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley (1998); four brothers, LeRoy Pickett, Gene Pickett, Bob Pickett, and Don Pickett; great granddaughter, Grace Nolan; two sons in law, William Litzau, and Neil Berger; and her parents.

Memorial Services will be on Tuesday July 27, 2021; 5:00 p.m. at the Cowboy Church at Northwoods Harvest Barn. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the West-Kjos Funeral Home of Detroit Lakes.
